Hospice has provided care to Coshocton residents in the final stages of life for over 30 years. Our primary goal is to keep our patients comfortable and able to enjoy time with family and friends. Our highly qualified and experienced staff includes several professionals who are nationally certified in hospice and palliative care, including our medical director, Dr. Robert Gwinn. Our staff provides:
- an individualized approach to pain control and symptom management.
- emotional support through the services of our bereavement counselor, social worker, volunteers and spiritual care team.
- personal care and assistance given gently and respectfully by our home health aides.
Insurance Medicare, Medicaid and many private insurance plans provide a Hospice benefit. No one is refused hospice care due to an inability to pay.
